If I could eat one type of cuisine for a year it would be Italian. It is colorful, full of different textures, and reheatable.

There will come a day very soon where I will be able to delete all emails pertaining to job searches. I will be delighted to place that check mark in all those boxes on gmail, yahoo, and whatever else. I will be delighted to close all those tabs of websites offering up their wears, their various and sundry. Oh to have a day where my web browser has only 4 of 5 open tabs.  The day where the other web browser has 7 or 8 will be grand. The day where I might not have to go back to firefox over safari or chrome because this web browser cannot handle this web service or web content or pop-up or whatever else is keeping progress from unfolding, that day will be grand. How joyous the day will be to be free to wander about the world wide web without that particular intent. Yes, I will be glad.

Make New Friends But Keep The Old

... One is silver and the other's gold. I learned this song when I was around 9 or 10 years old. Throughout the decades, friends have come and gone. These friends were all ages from 3 years old to 108. Some friends I have lost through death... I cherish those 9 years of sharing life with my 108 year old friend. She passed a little over 3 years ago. What a go getter she was. She gave up driving at 99 when she had a close call leaving the Dairy Queen parking lot. She moved to my hometown to be close to her daughters a month shy of 100. She didn't start using a walker until 103. I made friends with a three year old as she read the New York Times while on her knees on her family's couch.
