What Must Come

Desire tells no lies truth burns deeper and longer than any acid the day surely folds into night there should be no surprise autumn leaves tense and taunt once pliable and once held fiercely by the branch must make circumstance confirm to truth though every year leaves spring anew yet not the same one we once knew is this the fate of even every man a command to bring forth growth and shed what once was for what must come 1.5.18

Morning Shadows Cast on Leaves

Image
Along the railing of my porch, these leaves gathered. They are only here but a moment. Such Grace and Beauty for the day to elevate my spirit with their presence. How lovely it is to get to witness this quiet expression of life's never ending cycle.

Little Rose That Could

Image
This is a rose that started to bloom before the temperature began to drop into the teens. I took this photo this morning, 1.3.2018 as a part of my three creative projects a day commitment. Even though the weather is an enemy to life this day, this rose persists and intends on being seen!
